Rosemary: healthy benefits for skin, liver and memory

Rosemary is a plant with anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Able to treat acne and oily skin, rosemary has also a purifying action on the liver and a calming effect in case of muscle and joint pain. It results useful in case of weakness and poor concentration.

Here the most important uses of the rosemary:

Herbal tea – Add one teaspoon of rosemary leaves to a cup of boiling water. Let it stand for 10 minutes, strain and drink. The obtained herbal tea has a liver detoxifying effect.

Steam Facial  – Boil water, when water is boiling add a couple of rosemary sprigs. Wait for some seconds then remove from heat. Expose your face to steam for about ten minutes. Then,  use a wipe with skin tonic. In case of acne and oily and blemish-prone skin .

Essential oil - if you breath the aroma this is a good remedy against body  weakness and poor concentration. In order to help digestion take 2-3 drops of rosemary essential oil in ½ teaspoon of honey. In case of joint and muscle pain apply a couple of drops of rosemary essential oil mixed with sweet almond oil on the part.
